Friday Finds
I did have a fabulous week this week! It started out kinda full on, but now I am feeling I am getting more control over things. Glad is Friday again and am looking for my Friday Finds blog post. There where lots of phone calls to be made and photo-shoots to be planned which can be a juggle sometimes. Lucky my favourite food-stylist Kristine, always a gem was able to help me out and I borrowed some amazing plates and boards from her.
The super earthy ceramic plate-ware already caught the eye of Marcus, who is very interested I will find out who the ceramist is and share with you all too.
In the next few weeks I’ll be visiting some more of the fabulous restaurants in the Byron Bay area. Still in the beginning stages our bestselling cookbook Byron Bay – A food journey through the region.
Could be the weather, but hubby and I feel like lunch instead of working at the moment, so today it is bucketing down with rain and we will probably cancel all our weekend plans so I felt like a gourmet burger, so we put on our wellies and made it to Mullumbimby where they have the best Gourmet Burgers at the Empire. For weeks we sometimes work and work without even bothering leaving the property but this was the second lunch out in a week. Monday we really wanted to see that beautiful view you get from sitting at the Byron Beach Cafe, slightly protected from the wind it felt like summer overlooking the bay to the Pass. Waves were great so lots of surfers and paddle boarders out there. I could not resist the delicious mussels and a couple of glasses of a great Pinot Gris, what an afternoon.
